Dixie Cally is a 2015 Maiden Mare. Pending her Conservation standing she can be bred to any Conservation Stallion that is available for her bloodlines. She is a Catskill line crossed with an NATA Antiquities Line bred Mare. Her training was begun in 2020 where she spent 60 days with trainer KatyMae Robertson in Remington, Va. During that time she was shown to be very interested in whatever work she was put to including cattle. She is ready to go to the next level and partner with a small adult or tween child with advanced experience or under the direction of an experienced trainer/coach. She is the perfect addition to the person wanting to have a nice horse who is able to problem solve and work independently, but is also willing to partner with her person.

Dixie Cally also has the potential to be part of a foundation herd and help develop a restoration breeding program for Heck Tarpans on your farm.

All shots, vet care, feeding etc. is the obligation of the buyer before the horse leaves the farm. Dixie Meadows Farm gives each horse a 5 way vaccine annually and worms three times a year. Please contact your vet to see what your horse will need for your location and for travel. Coggins and all additional vaccines are the responsibility of the buyer and are required previous to transporting the horse you purchase. We encourage you to bring the vet of your choosing to vet check before buying. All sales are final.

Bright Fields Patty

Bright Fields Patty is a 2012 Brood mare at Dixie Meadows Farm. She is a NATA Antiquities Line bred Mare. Bright Fields Patty is a proven broodmare that has produced 3 foals. Her 2015 daughter was entered into the Conservation Breeding program in 2019 and is available. Bright Fields Patty’s 2019 foal is also available. She has not been evaluated for prior training.

As a Conservation Breeding Program mare, Bright Fields Patty can be bred upon purchase to one of our Dixie Meadows Farm Studs. In addition any Conservation Breeding Program mare you purchase from Dixie Meadows farm may also be bred back to a purebred Tarpan on our farm. This will be contracted at time of purchase.
